Polyester Strapping Extruded polyester strapping also known as PET strapping, is used when regular polypropylene strapping isn'tstrong enough to get the job done or as a direct replacement for steel strapping. Polyester strapping most closely resembles steel in it's physical characteristics and will withstand higher tensioning than other plastic strapping with equivalent break strengths. It is virtually unaffected by weather or ultravoilet rays. PET does not rust or stain products when exposed to the elements. PET strapping is safer to use than steel as it has no sharp edges and is easier to dispose of too. PET strapping is completely recyclable.
